About Domaine

Marc Lazar, President

As president of our partner company, Cellar Advisors, Marc is especially familiar with the needs of wine collectors. He oversees a team that inventories an average of 20,000 bottles per month, as well as providing valuations, appraisals, acquisitions and liquidations.

These customers requests, in fact, were the inspiration behind the first facility in St. Louis, Missouri in 2005. Marc quickly grew the business into a full-service facility, gathering customers from 7 surrounding states to fill the space. Marc also oversees the pipeline of wine coming into and out of the facility, including consolidated deliveries from major wine vendors and sources through out the US and Europe.

Justin Connor, Director of Operations

Justin joined the Cellar Advisors team after his company, The Noble Vine was acquired in October 2010.  Justin founded and acted as Managing Partner of The Noble Vine, a wine consultancy based in Washington, DC.  In this role he oversaw client development, cellar management projects, and acquisitions and liquidations for wine collectors around the globe.

As Director of Operations, Justin will manage business processes and new opportunities.

Katherine Lazar, Director of Development & Marketing

As the brand manager of our partner company, Cellar Advisors, Katherine created and directs their luxury image and has parlayed that expertise into creating wine storage facilities that are secure, functional and comfortable for our clients and their collections.

Katherine oversees existing facilities as well as the launch of new ones, working with the real estate, architecture, design and building teams to create each Domaine.  She also manages the brand image and marketing efforts as well as non-profit partnerships.

Before working with Domaine and Cellar Advisors, Katherine was the brand manager of a boutique handcrafted retail and wholesale chocolatier.

Christopher Klingenstein, Chicago Managing Partner

Christopher has been a knowledgeable resource and trusted colleague in many aspects of our growing business over the past 6 years. He has an extensive and diverse background with fifteen years experience in the restaurant and wine industry, and we are happy to finally have him on board. Christopher joined John Hart Fine Wine in 2002 and continued to be an integral part of the growing team with the founding of Hart Davis Hart shortly thereafter. Consulting on both the highly successful retail and auction sides of the business, he has had extensive experience with the finest and rarest wines. We are excited for him to manage the operations of our new facility in Chicago, IL.

When not enjoying a great bottle, he can either be found on the golf course honing his skills or spending time with his family and newborn son Brooks.
